In this demo you can play with live RQA analysis applied to movement data obtained from the webcam using frame difference method. The amount of movement is quantified as a number of pixels changing color between subsequent video frames. Frame rate is limited to 10 FPS. Movement time series is calculated using a sliding window of length 10 seconds. You can play with your movement and see how it affects the recurrence plot and recurrence measures. Experiment with different RQA parameters. You can also check cRQA option: then the video frame is divided in two and cross-RQA plot is generated. You can use it to quantify movement coordination with a partner.
