Comment on coding metaphor in neuroscience

Terrence W. Deacon and Joanna Rączaszek-Leonardi published article “Abandoning the code metaphor is compatible with semiotic process” in Behavioral and Brain Sciences. It is a comment on Romain Brette's paper „Is coding a relevant metaphor for the brain?” stressing the relevance of C. S. Peirce's semiotics for modern theories of cognition.
